The insurance scheme is compulsory for all spouse and children of International Graduate students of SUTD who are sponsored by SUTD for a long-term visit pass (LTVP) issued by Singapore Immigration (ICA).

Coverage

Dependants will enjoy similar coverage as Graduate Students.

Eligibility

The insurance scheme is compulsory for all spouse and children of International Graduate students of SUTD who are sponsored by SUTD for a long-term visit pass (LTVP) issued by Singapore Immigration (ICA).

If you do not fall within the abovementioned group, please do not apply.

Coverage at point of claim is subject to confirmation that the student is a registered full-time student of SUTD and his/her dependants are holding a LTVP. The coverage will terminate once the student is no longer eligible as an SUTD student and/or if the dependant no longer holds a LTVP or Dependant Pass.

We will only check on your eligibility in event of claim. Please note that claims will not be payable if you are not eligible/approved even if you have paid for the insurance.

The dependant must be residing in Singapore. If the dependant is currently overseas, please start the cover only when he/she is in Singapore. The insurer reserves the right to request for proof of stay/residency in event of claim.

Premium

Important Note

The master policy is renewable annually. The next renewal is from 01/09/2025. As such, you can only purchase the insurance up to 31/08/2025 even if the LTVP expires later.

Premium Payable

For period of cover from 01/09/2024 to 31/08/2025 or shorter, the premium is $195.66 including 9% GST.
There is no refund if the LTVP expires/is cancelled mid-term.
The full premium must be paid. Monthly premium is not accepted.
The insurance is compulsory for all dependants sponsored by SUTD for a LTVP, except if the dependant is living overseas.
The dependant must be residing in Singapore. If the dependant is currently overseas, please start the cover only when he/she is in Singapore. The insurer reserves the right to request for proof of stay/residency in event of claim.
