Payment of Premium


Students have to pay the travel insurance premium at the SUTD One-Stop Centre.

Students have to pay the travel insurance premium at the SUTD One-Stop Centre.

Important Note: Please do not apply here if

  • you have been informed by your programme administrator of the premium amount;

  • your trip is not listed under "Name of Trip/Programme" in the online form below;

  • the total duration of your trip (official SUTD programme + personal deviation) exceeds 183 days.

Please approach your programme administrator for clarification instead.


Duration Per Trip

The maximum duration per trip is 183 days including personal deviation.

Note:

  • A Trip must start from the date of departure from Singapore and end on the date of arrival in Singapore. The dates must be the same as your air ticket.

  • If you have not purchased your air ticket or if there should be changes subsequently, you must inform us BEFORE the expiry of the insurance and any additional premium for a longer personal deviation period will be payable to SUTD, in order for the insurance to be valid.

  • The premium payable for the official SUTD programme and personal deviation will be computed based on the duration of your trip.

Email to customercare@mycg.com.sg a copy of your air ticket or itinerary departing from and returning to Singapore. Please state in the email subject header “Your Name / SUTD Student Travel”.

We will forward the Certificate of Insurance to you within 3 working days.

 

Step 3

Bring the Certificate of Insurance to SUTD One-Stop Centre to pay the insurance premium.

Emergency Assistance While Abroad

While overseas, if you require emergency assistance, please contact AXA's 24-hour Emergency Hotline +65-63222566 in respect of the following services:

  • Locate the nearest appropriate consulate or embassy while overseas

  • Assist in retrieving your lost baggage

  • Assist in retrieving your lost passport or other travel documents

  • Telephone medical advice

  • Arrangement for hospital admission

  • Emergency evacuation/repatriation

  • Monitoring of medical condition

 

Emergency Medical Assistance and Evacuation / Repatriation

Please note that evacuation/repatriation expenses will be covered under the policy only if arranged by AXA Assistance or SUTD's appointed assistance company.

How to make a Claim?

Step 1

Refer to the Document Checklist and prepare/obtain the supporting documents required for your type of claim.

Keep a copy of the documents for your records.

Before you click "Submit", please save a copy of the online claim form and keep for your records.

Step 4

Email a copy of the claim form and documents submitted to customercare@mycg.com.sg for our record so that we can help you to monitor the claim.


Please keep the original documents for 6 months as the insurer may request for them for processing, verification or audit.

Generally, claims will be processed within 30 days after receipt of complete documents and information.

You (claimant) will be notified of the result of the claim by email. Reimbursements/payments for approved claims will be credited into the your bank account.


Follow-up Claims

Please email the medical bills and other relevant documents to MYCG. The subject header should be “Your Name / SUTD Student Travel Claim”.
