We regret to inform that the manager of the SIT Student Insurance has changed with effect from 1 August 2019. It has been a pleasure working with SIT and you, the students. We will miss you and wish you the very best.

During the interim period, if you have claims which fall under the following categories, please continue to submit these claims to us. Please scroll down for the claim procedures.

* Group Personal Accident - Follow-up treatment from an accident that occurred before 1 August 2019, but within 1 year from the date of accident;

* Outpatient GP, Specialist, Mental Health or Hospitalisation/Surgery expenses that were incurred before 1 August 2019;

* Travel - Losses sustained before 1 August 2019

Applies to the following types of claims:

How to make a claim?

 

Step 1

Prepare/obtain the following documents:

GPA - Group Personal Accident Insurance
GHS - Group Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance
H&S - Hospitalisation & Surgery
LOG - Letter of Guarantee

Step 2

  • Please email the claim documents to MYCG and state in the email subject header “Your Name / SIT - New Claim”. Please keep the original documents for up to one (1) year in case the insurer may require for verification or audit.


Generally, claims will be processed within 30 days after receipt of complete documents and information.

The student will be notified of the result of the claim by email. For approved medical expense claims, the reimbursement will be credited into the student’s bank account.


FOLLOW-UP CLAIMS

Please email the follow-up bill to MYCG and state in the email subject header “Your Name / SIT - follow-up claim”. Please keep the original documents for up to one (1) year in case the insurer may require for verification or audit.
